How to request deletion
— Follow these 4 steps
- Compose an email to contact@lingomesh.app.
- Include
[Account Deletion]in the subject line. - In the body, include the email address you used to sign up and the sentence “Please delete my LingoMesh account and associated data.”
- You will receive a confirmation email within 7 business days reporting the outcome.
For identity verification, please send the email from the address you used to sign up. Requests from a different address cannot be processed because we are unable to confirm ownership.
What gets deleted
Once a deletion request is approved, the following data is permanently removed.
— Removed from the server immediately
Account and authentication
- Email address, display name, profile photo
- Firebase UID and password hash
- Active access and refresh tokens
- Email verification status and sign-up history
— Removed from the device immediately
On-device data
- Conversation sessions, utterances, and sentences
- Cached text-to-speech audio files
- Stored preferences and signed-in state
— Deactivated immediately
Subscription and entitlements
- Active subscription tier (entitlement turned off)
- Remaining points and interpretation seconds
— Anonymized
Usage metadata
- User identifiers stripped from call logs
- Only anonymous aggregate data retained for quality and statistics
Data we keep, and for how long
Korean law requires us to keep certain billing and transaction records even after an account is deleted. These records are used only to meet legal obligations such as accounting, tax, and dispute handling, and are purged as soon as the retention period expires.
